Denver, NC (April, 2017) – MPV Properties (MPV) recently joined Novant Health in a topping out ceremony for their new 25,000 SF medical office building currently under construction in Denver, North Carolina. MPV broke ground on the new building on February 24th. The topping out ceremony, which was held on March 30th, included representatives from Novant Health, MPV Properties, and Shelco to commemorate the completion of the steal portion of the development. As part of the ceremony, physicians and staff from Novant Health decorated the tree, a traditional symbol in topping out ceremonies, with purple medical tape before it was hoisted to the highest steal beam on the structure.
Six Novant Health practices will occupy the entire building, which is expected to be complete in August of 2017. These practices include Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians, Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians Urgent Care, Novant Health Lakeside Pediatrics, Novant Health Huntersville OB/Gyn, Novant Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and Novant Health Physical Therapy. Their new facility will sit prominently along NC Highway 16 South near the intersection of Highway 73.
Mike Wiles from Southern Real Estate represented Novant Health, and Mark Newell and George Macon with MPV Properties represented the landlord in this transaction. Robert Johnson Architects designed the building, and Shelco is the contractor. MPV Properties is managing development of the build-to-suit project.
