Charlotte, NC (April, 2017) MPV Properties (MPV) is pleased to announce that White Point Partners, a Charlottes-based private real estate investment firm, has acquired approximately 5.1 acres of land at the corner of Yancey Road and Old Pineville Road in the emerging entertainment and brewery hub of Lower South End/Queen Park. The site has been home to Bowers Fibers for decades, and White Point intends to keep much of the existing infrastructure in the adaptive reuse of the property, transforming it into retail and office space.

White Point Partners has worked in this corridor before, acquiring and redeveloping the building that now houses Queen Park Social. Lower South End/Queen Park is also home to Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Sugar Creek Brewery, The Broken Spoke Distillery, and GoodRoad Ciderworks.

Matt McLanahan and Brad Murr with MPV Properties represented White Point Partners in their acquisition of the property, and Bailey Patrick, also of MPV Properties, represented Bowers Fibers.
