Charlotte, NC (April, 2017)MPV Properties (MPV) is pleased to announce that DISH Network Corporation has signed a lease for 2050 Suttle Avenue, located in Charlotte’s Bryant Park district. The company will take the entire 11,200 SF building to use as a service vehicle storage and supply facility. This will be a relocation for DISH, who already has a presence in Charlotte.

The building itself has an interesting history. In 1997 it was the stage for the famous Loomis Fargo robbery, in which North Carolinian David Scott Ghantt and friends of his executed the largest cash heist in U.S. history of $17.3 million dollars. The event inspired the big budget Hollywood comedy film Masterminds, which was released in 2016 and featured an all-star cast.

Billy Thomas and George Macon of MPV represented the landlord. Hunter Barron, formerly with CBRE, represented DISH. The company plans to take occupancy of the space in April, and has hired Roby Commercial to upfit the space. The old bank vault no longer exists, but some relics of the former bank still remain.
