Robby has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, with an emphasis on office and industrial leasing. During his career, he has participated in leasing over 5 million square feet of office space and over 3 million square feet of industrial space. Some of Robby's more noteworthy deals include Compass Group (185,000 SF), Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (2 build-to-suits of 170,000 SF each), Goodrich Corporation (132,000 SF), Time Warner Cable (120,000 SF), Marriott Distribution Systems (100,000 SF) Samuel Strapping (97,000 SF) and Paetec (94,000 SF). Robby also has extensive institutional experience having worked for several years with JP Morgan, ING/Clarion and Nations Bank Real Estate Investment Management, among others.

Robby is currently president-elect of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and is also a member of the Board of Directors for Kinder Mourn, a United Way agency. His past Board/Civic involvement includes Dowd YMCA, Myers Park United Methodist Church, Council for Children, Classroom Central, Myers Park Country Club and Myers Park Trinity Little League.

Robby is a native of Charlotte and graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS degree in Business Administration. He and his wife Jacquie have two children, Kathryn (19) and Davis (16).
