Charlotte, NC (February, 2016)MPV Properties (MPV) is pleased to announce its acquisition of the Kings Square retail center. MPV started a full remodel of the existing retail center at 333-345 South Kings Drive on February 1, 2016. The center is located at the corner of South Kings Drive and Luther Street, directly across from Metropolitan, in Charlotte’s Midtown district. MPV is remodeling the exterior façade of the building and releasing 4,800 square feet. Existing tenants, iColor Nails, Subway and Emperor Chinese Restaurant, will continue as tenants in Kings Square. New tenants, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint and CycleBar indoor cycling studio, will be opening later this year. Bill Moseley of Moseley Real Estate Advisors represented Uncle Maddio’s, and Margot Bizon of Katz & Associates represented CycleBar.

Eric Nichols, J.Q. Freeman and Mary Bryant of MPV Properties are managing the redevelopment and leasing of the shopping center. Exterior renovations are expected to be complete in 90 – 120 days. ai Design Group is responsible for the design of the remodel. Doerre Construction is the general contractor for the project.
